Mini-case study: some visual flyers I created while in pharmacy school

During my time as social chair of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, I was tasked with designing digital flyers to advertise on social media.

Social Chair. Designed digital flyers, advertise on social media, plan and execute social events with co-chair.

Problem:

In-person social events were postponed during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, so any social events hosted by the school had to be virtual. However, attendance reached record-lows as Zoom fatigue grew.

Solution:

We considered what many students preferred to see hosted as virtual social events through a survey. We then came up with a series of "How-To:" episodes that featured current students showing others how to learn a certain skill.

The Final Products:

The concept was to design the flyers like the character selection screen of a video game, with each featured guest for an event being a new character.
